Fees

We are registered and recognised by most major health insurance companies, including BUPA, AXA, AVIVA, WPA, PruHealth. Some policies will have an excess to pay or may only pay a percentage of the costs. Any excess or shortfall in the cover is the responsibility of the patient and payment should be made directly to Penny Porter Physiotherapy limited. In these instances your insurance company will advise you. We will also issue you with an invoice once we have been notified.

Please note: You do not need a GP referral to receive physiotherapy if you are self funding your treatment. However if you intend to claim all, or part of your treatment costs back, a GP referral is usually required by your insurance company.

Home Visits

We are pleased to offer domiciliary visits for those patients who are unable to travel to our clinic. Patients can be seen in the comfort of their own home or community setting, such as residential or nursing homes, within a 5-mile radius of the clinic.

Gift Vouchers

Vouchers can be used for all or services: Massage, Physiotherapy, Swim Analysis, Hydrotherapy.

Our printable Gift Vouchers can be purchased by calling us or emailing us.

Payment by Credit or Debit Card can be made over the phone or we can take payments by BACS transfer.

We will either send you by email the printable voucher, or you can pop in at the practice to collect the Gift Voucher or we can send it by post to your required address.

The user of the voucher will just need to call the practice to arrange an appointment time.

Cancellation Procedure

Please inform us if you are unable to attend any session, within 24 hours prior to your appointment, or regrettably a cancellation charge equal to one session, will be charged.
